I love to take walks in the rain. That being said when I was painting this familiar scene in a different atmosphere than I had painted it before, I was surprised as passers by would comment on my dedication or commitment to be painting “under these conditions”. I would smile and say that I love to paint when it’s so quiet, just me and nature.
